"This is a YA read, but adults will also enjoy and learn from this fast-paced book. I started it with every intention of reading a few chapters before bed. Five hours later I had devoured the entire book. The characters are beautifully flawed and I found myself cheering for them when they couldn’t cheer for themselves. There are some hard, but real, issues addressed in this book. I appreciate that Beckie Lindsey addresses topics that are often ignored and spotlights the reality that there is more going on that what we may ever see with our eyes. This is a great read for teens who are fighting their own battles, as well as adults who would like insight into the struggles of today’s teens and young adults face."

Do you want more out of your time with God? Would you like something deeper than a forced reading regimen or a fill-in-the-blanks study? Me too! God did something amazing in my life twenty years ago when I began journaling a few verses at a time from my daily Bible...
If I Only Had A Brain: Scarecrow Syndrome And Food Addiction
“You are what you eat.” Do you believe that statement? I think it's more accurate to say, “You are what you consume.” More on that later. As a person who recently acknowledged a food addiction, I’m beginning to see it’s not really about the food. Yeah, yeah. I’m...
WHEN YOUR IMAGE OF GOD IS FLAWED

GOD’S MATH
I’m not a math person. In fact, I stink at it. Sure, I can figure out fractions for a recipe and percentages for a sale at Kohls— during the holiday season, this comes in handy. But beyond that, I’m scratching my head and scrunching my eyebrows together. It’s a good...
AFTER THE ELECTION:WHAT SHOULD CHRISTIANS DO?
THANK YOU, LORD, FOR THE USA The day after the elections, my husband and I had the privilege of visiting our nation’s capital—the infamous Pennsylvania Avenue to be exact. I stood on my tiptoes, bobbing my head around the crowds of people, to catch a glimpse of the...
3 WAYS TO THANK GOD NOW
The young doctor approached my father and me, removing a mask that exposed a grin. “Good news! The surgery went well. I believe we removed all of the tumor,” he said. “You can go see her in recovery shortly, although she may not be fully conscience.” Dad and I hugged...

How to Hear & Identify the Voice of God
God is continually communicating to people. He’s been doing it since the Garden of Eden. He told Noah to build an ark. He spoke to Moses through a burning bush. He spoke to Daniel and Joseph through dreams. The apostle Paul writes that God reveals Himself through...
