Whether you have doubted God’s existence, questioned the validity of the Bible, or believed and turned your back on God—it doesn’t matter.
Today is the day of salvation!
Even if you still have some doubts. That’s okay. Bring those doubts to God. Look around you. How did all of this get here? How did YOU get here? There must be a creator.
You can say a simple heartfelt prayer and choose to believe.
It’s as easy as A B C
- Admit you cannot save yourself. You need a savior. That savior is Jesus Christ.
- Believe that this savior Jesus died for your sins.
- Choose to follow Jesus right now with a simple prayer like this:
God, I’ve questioned you for too long. I want to know you. I realize I cannot do this life by myself. I have sinned against you and I need your son, Jesus to save me. So on this day, I choose Jesus. Come into my heart and my life now. I will follow you, Jesus. Thank you for loving me enough to pay the price for my sins.
That’s it! Now you belong to Jesus.
I encourage you to read the paragraph below from Got Questions.com. It’s also important for your spiritual growth to: tell someone about your decision. Go to church. Read your Bible and pray daily.
Faith in Jesus Christ as the Savior is the only “step” to salvation. The message of the Bible is abundantly clear. We have all sinned against God (Romans 3:23). Because of our sin, we deserve to be eternally separated from God (Romans 6:23). Because of His love for us (John 3:16), God took on human form and died in our place, taking the punishment that we deserve (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21). God promises forgiveness of sins and eternal life in heaven to all who receive, by grace through faith, Jesus Christ as Savior (John 1:12; 3:16; 5:24; Acts 16:31).
If you accepted or rededicated your life to Jesus today, will you let me know in the comments below so I can be praying for you?
Blessings to you!

Del, Had to do it! Blessings to you, my friend on this most excellent day.
The message the whole world needs to hear, Beckie. Wishing you and yours a Happy and Blessed Easter!
Martha, Amen! Hope your Easter was wonderful 🙂
Great Easter post, Beckie–very appropriate for the day, since everything comes down to whether we know Him or not.
Ron, absolutely! Thanks for reading. We had over 50 people baptized during the Saturday night service at church. I think that wonderful experience inspired this post—along with he Holy Spirit 🙂
Beckie, I love how you said it was okay if people have doubts or don’t fully understand, because many people say no, because they don’t “understand how it all works.” Well… We will never understand how it all works! Nice choice of a prayer also,! I always tell people, you don’t have to know all the answers… you just have to be willing to receive Jesus! 💙
Angela, thanks so much. I hope you and yours had an enjoyable Easter.
I treasure your prayers and texts, my friend. You are a true blessing and I’m honored you chose me to be in your world.
Molly Jo, Wow! Now that’s the kind of comment that makes my day. I appreciate you too, friend 🙂
